Kanavinsky City District

Kanavinsky city district is one of the oldest districts of Nizhny Novgorod. Today Kanavino (in a brief manner) is one the largest industrial districts in the city. It is a traffic centre of both the internal and external transportation lines of all-Russian importance. Cargo Terminal of River Port, Main Train Station, and one of the major motor-coach terminals are located in Kanavinsky city district. Kanavinsky district is a large shopping centre that an extensive network of food and manufactured goods markets, shops, and public service establishments are placed in.
